Barn Door Build
We have a ridiculously small downstairs guest bathroom. It’s airplane bathroom small. If you suffer from chlostraphobia DO NOT ENTER! What’s worse, the door used to open inwards which made it a super fun game of ‘wedge yourself beside the toilet’ just to close the door. So if you’re like me, you just peed with the door open. But that posed a problem when we had guests... who woulda thought?! So we decided to remove said door, and replace it with a barn door! We bought the brackets on Amazon because they were a fraction of the price than Home Depot and Lowe’s. Then we constructed the door with tongue and groove wood. My hubs built it from scratch. I painted the front white and distressed it. Then I stained the inside to match the wood in the bathroom. The difference is unbelievable, and I even close the door when I go to the bathroom now! So everyone wins!! MUCH BETTER!!
